I totally agree.

In the many years that I have worked in the personal achievement field AND as a psychiatrist, I can tell you that very few people are doers - just talkers and dreamers. They always talke about that 'someday' when things will be just peachy keen...when the moon is in the 7th house...and jupiter aligns with Mars... (somehow that reminds me of a song *g*)...

MOTIVATION and DESIRE...2 things that are lacking in most. And if they DO have any desire, it usually isn't enough to get them motivated into action.

Just look at the bizop field...many people fall in love with the idea of being their own boss. However, most businesses FAIL...because...of what? From many I've talked to, it was due to inappropriate goals...or should I say, not counting the costs that are involved and forgetting about the SACRIFICE factor.

Hummm...then also, many of them simply did not know how to run a business...and they were so ignorant that they never thought about educating themselves BEFORE taking the plunge.

Dreams. Dreamers.

And...you are right about a lack of tolerance.

Just yesterday, several of my staff BROKE policy by, just not thinking! Now, I can tell you that that same policy was trampled on 3 times that same day because someone didn't think. Hummm. Each of these infractions were OBVIOUS.

I wonder if they run their lives that way? Of course they do...there really isn't any coincidence in life...at least, not that type.

CBA...that's not how I've made it to where I am today. Elbow grease was ALWAYS a known given - something many people try to pass on today.

"I want to be a doctor" - there was never any question I would achieve this...never! I just KNEW it.

And...if anyone wants to trade 110 hour work week, well...come on (I don't do those anymore either).

ACTION and constant course correction are what helps one to get where they are going...once one sets their mind on where you want to end up.

Oh well...time for dinner!
