Default Dien, when you have a chance, do some testing on the Private Messages feature...

I've been using it to email some registered users but after I hit the forum send button it's not showing as sent or recording any inbox or sent details.

The email seems to get sent and received ok after confirming things But doesn't show in the forum Private Messages feature.

I know you can send messages using your own email or through the forum system so maybe it just requires some setup by you or maybe each member, although it's always worked automatically on other vBulletin forums. No emergency, just thought I'd let you know.

Thanks again for all your hard work.

Phil

Hi Phil,

Ah, yes, I haven't tested the Private Message feature yet at all... I'll try that out soon and see if I can get it to work...

Hi Dien,

the private messages worked fine for me.

To save the message and to acknowledge receipt that the message was read, you have to check some boxes below the actual message box.

You'll love the PM option. It works great! With email as inconsistent as it is everyone should start a forum with this feature.

Thanks Ankesh for the reminder about checking some of the boxes.

Easy to not Think when we have all that advanced technology in Todays world...

I guess a couple more years for all those Autopilot systems to kick in!

So Dien... One less thing to do and fix.

Also, Thanks for a couple other test emails I received and make sure you all register and setup your SowPub forum back office in time for Christmas and New Years 2007...
