Gordon, that's a great theme....

I steered away from Survivor, but now I'm sorry I did. I'm sure I could have learned a lot, especially about human nature....

Here is a great quote (I quoted it before, but no matter)....

During this, my first encounter with "big business," I was to learn that success requires more than work, study, imagination, and faith; it requires other people. And it requires every single percentage point of brain power you can squeeze out of your cranium.

[From Joe Cossman, in "Making It!" by E. Joseph Cossman and William A. Cohen, pages 8-9.]

The part in bold is the part I didn't realize before, that Joe Cossman didn't realize before, and that I think a lot of people don't realize. "It requires other people."

This is a Big lesson I've learned from you, Gordon.

Gordon, you have given a lot of value with your various posts on this forum, but I think sometimes people don't realize how important they are. In fact, I often haven't realized how important they are the first time I heard them. However, as we went through setting this site up and getting everything running, including the forum, the wisdom of your words begin to sink in, and I begin to understand what you are saying.

I may be slow, but I'm not completely stupid. Or so I like to think. :)

Thanks for sharing your wisdom here, Gordon.... Often, people don't realize just how much depth there is to your words, yet if they pay attention and apply them, they could see some important things in their lives begin to bear fruit.

I know this from experience.... Again, thank you. :)
