Hi Michael,
I don't believe there is any such thing as a swamped market. Take cola drinks. Who could compete against Coke? Well Pepsi can. And so can a thousand other smaller brands who have carved a niche for themselves. Operating in a market doesn't mean you have to dominate it. There is often plently of money to be made from around the edges. The more you can make your part of the market unique, the better you will do. Unless everybody is suffering from a group delusion, the existence of plenty of competitors just means that there is a ready and willing pool of customers.
