Easy Membership Profits---I'M DONE

Hi my friends,

I have finished the Easy Membership Report. Yea! Between being sick and
a computer crash I didn't think I was ever going to get done.

This is great information. I have not touched the videos yet and I have learned so much.

Another thing I was thinking about was adding a niche youtube video link on some days that teaches something about the chosen niche. What do you think?

Ideas are flowing like crazy with what I have read. I know the videos are going to be great. What you are teaching in simple format, the gurus make it look hard or leave something out. I can't wait for the traffic information.

I feel like I should of let you kept the other $5 that I overpaid plus some more.... :-)

This is not an ebook. It is magic. Beats any WSO I've reviewed and I have reviewed a number of them. Thank you for being concise and informative with material that actually works.

Everybody and their sister on sowpub should spend the 5 bux. You can't get this type of information over on the other forum.

Skip is doing all of us a favor by pricing it at only $5. BTW, I can think of one guy who would have put a $97 price tag on this information without batting an eye.

Skip, I think I was your first sale! This is a very tight, information packed product, well worth the $5. Heck, it's well worth the $27!

One quick question for you though. I know the possible strategies are infinite, but what do you suggest as a marketing/promotional strategy for this.

I'm assuming it would be the same as a web site, but without any on-page seo or backlinks! Thoughts?

Thank you for your comments and review.

Right now I'm going to put it at $27 so most can get it.

You can use any method for traffic that you can use for a website. Free or paid. But if you use the free you will spend more time then money and if you use the paid then you will spend more money then time. It is up to each person.

I use paid solo ads for my promo's. I find blogs, newsletters, hotsheets, etc and make a deal with the owner to run some solo ads. For me that is the best way.

I wanted to put together something that anybody could do and build their own internet business. As you say "something that works."

I could of made the pdf 80 pages if I wanted to include some fluff. I think the just the facts format is better.

Got your product.

Read through it...concise....good content....good opportunity to make money...a few spelling mistakes - not many....and then I followed your links...and Whamo.

I am presuming you are putting these videos on youtube for 2 reasons....

1. free bandwidth...and...
2. for exposure.

But what I found was you almost giving away the basis of your product...and anybody that has any experience in internet marketing...even limited...can figure it out.

If I had done a search on youtube and found the 7 videos you have there I would not have had to buy your product.

Can I suggest putting them on your skiprosell.com site and have the purchasers of your product download them in a zip file from that site....you can put a link to them on your thank you page.

Don't know what program you used to create them...but if it was Camtasia you can turn them into a shareable format in .wmv format so they aren't very big....then you just zip up the files in folders for each video....all the user has to do is double click the html page for each and it loads in their browser.

I listened and watched all of them and while you haven't given away the farm, there is an awful lot of info there (some shown that is quite readable, and quite a bit in you talking about it) that in my opinion shouldn't be open to public scrutiny to protect the integrity of the product and sales of it.

Thank you for catching the mistake I made on Youtube. I have now set the videos to unlisted but it will take a while for youtube to unlist them. My bad.

I have a check list for most of what I do just to make sure I don't make stupid mistakes like this one. But I was in a rush and didn't check my check list.

I'm guessing that there are two types of membership sites: One that offers continued and updated content that can offer, not only information, but also offers some perks for being a member of the site. Or a site that can offer a way to view information through links provided through research by the membership owner.

I like either way, and it is a determination by the person deciding.

Membership sites, to me, are, or should be, a real deal. If someone pays you each month for something, then it not only should be content, but some real deal offers from advertisers benefiting from the site. If I look forward to what you have to say and I KNOW you are for real, then the ads on the site come from someone I trust and invest in (NOT too many ads!, maybe two). That means something to me. I'm invested in it.

Not saying that Skip's method isn't good, by any means. It is the cost per month. I would pay $5.00 per month for links to information I would like to know about. Then again, I would pay $25.00 to $40.00 for something with great monthly content. Not only that, but with great content comes advertisers that SHOULD offer some awesome deals if that membership site is related, even remotely, to their business.

I'm making it sound easy. It is if you want to work at it. It is not if you want easy money without any effort/work.

Also, I realize Skip's method may have nothing to do with advertisement. And that is fine. Having links to information is great, having content with related great deal ads is another way.

Content is key. GOOD and relevant content. The day will soon come where junk videos will not make it on Youtube. But how do you determine that? Another day, another subject! Perhaps by 2015.

Thank you for your insights.

You can twist and turn this membership model many ways. In fact I mention in the report that you can charge a lot more in certain niches and with great content.

For this report I went the low ball way with a suggested fee of $5 per month. I did that because it makes for a simple and easy way to start a membership. By using links from other sites there is not a lot of writing or content that you have to produce.

But I can see where you could use this model for advertising if you have an area where the information is very valuable. I know of membership sites that demand a thousand dollars a month and they get it. But those kind of sites require a lot more work then the low-ball sites I suggest.

Like you say if you want to work then this is easy, if you do not want to work then it is not easy.

All good suggestions you have made and I hope some people get moved enough to start and profit from whatever kind of membership sites they choose.

When it comes to membership sites I always thought it was about content with continued content and a lot of effort with keeping up on the latest and greatest information in regards to the niche or specialty of the membership site. In other words, you better be passionate about the niche in order to charge people for your content.

While I understand that is still true, your information did bring a different approach which I certainly would have never thought of. I bought your material and found it very informative and insightful. DEFINITELY a different approach in regards to membership sites. After all, there ARE people who like being members to a site and have all the information at their fingertips. Then again, we have folks who may like having the links and want to judge for themselves if they like the information or not.
