Attn: Bea & Bob
Go to the newest Auto Repair Shop in town (one that does Oil Changes) and ask the owner if he'd like lots of new customers.
If he expresses interest, tell him you will printup a Coupon that has 4 FREE Oil Changes on it. You will sell these Coupons to local consumers and all he has to do is honor the Coupons when they come in. You can sell this Coupon for at least $20 ($5 per oil change) however, you could get $40 ($10 per Oil Change), the consumer is still getting oil changes for half-price. You keep the entire amount collected for your efforts and the auto repair shop gets new customers who get in the habit of going to hs shop every 3 months or so. And, the Coupons don't have to be fancy. You could go "office to office" selling these to secretaries. Or doortodoor where you might have to get a business license from City Hall. Billy B |

And on a related note...
http://www.ohio.com/news/8823512.html
More and more communities are adopting these sort of Peddler laws...I know some good ol boys like Billy B won't have any trouble crashing throgh the NO SOLICITOR signs... but to anyone, before you activate...check with your LOCAL folks...and know that ignorance of the local laws won't keep you from getting a fine. But, the idea is certainly as viable as most we've heard. gjabiz |
