The day your were born software

Does anyone know where to find a software program where you can enter your birthday and year and it will show you all kinds of information and news about what happened on the day your were born?

Wikipedia gives us a list of events - births - and deaths for all the days of a year.

For eg: 4th August
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/August_4

It doesn't provide details about a particular date in a particular year though.
