Small Potatoes Revisted

I just finished "Fly Low, Collect the Dough" and it got me to thinking. Thinking HARD.

I have to admit it.

I have missed something that has been in front of me for a long time. I think I chose to ignore it. Probably dirty, stinking PRIDE.

Anyway, the whole idea of doing small, consistent things on a daily basis while building income is one of the biggest secrets in plain sight I have missed.

We all like to hit home runs and balls out of the park. I have always liked to get the corporate speaking gigs that make lots of money....however, my bread and butter when I was strickly a performer was birthdays, after dinner gigs, and small schools. Imagine doing 5 small shows in a day.... It adds up.

And so I come back to the beginning. Doing smaller talks, selling low-cost info items, even doing a small magic show now and again.... all adds up.

Thanks Gordon, I owe you.

Now you can create a "toll position" too...here's how...

Millard,

I think you are going to be much better off in the long run...but you don't have to give up the home run...and you hit it through...

a "toll position" as taught by Harvey Brody.

I'm going to post some separate thoughts on this, look for Panama and Suez Canal in the post header.

Meantime, back at the ranch.

DO some small gigs...only this TIME, you keep copious notes on the whole thing...maybe even video tape it...start to finish...NOT only the show itself...

ALL THE STEPS you took to:

Get the gig. (Think other performers would be interested?)

Props. Costumes if needed. (where to get them, think suppliers, do you think that in the PARADE OF LIFE there are other younger performers who might be searching for HOW TO type info?)

Getting PAID. How much up front. How much to charge, etc.

Follow up. Do you send thank you cards (your should, if it were me, it would be a small calendar with a reminder to book me quickly before my time is taken)...

ALL the things you do to make your small helping of small potatoes.

THEN you have valuable information, that other people want. They are looking to find out HOW to stuff.

DO the gigs, keep notes, take video...and MILLARD,

in just about the lenght of time you've been trying to solve your "BIG POTATOS" seminar, I guarantee you you'll have enough raw material to create a powerful profit generator...

with a TOLL POSITION on the "Millard Grubb School of Entertaining Success" AND

Those little gigs will PAY for your Site Build it Site (or whatever)...but after 6 to 8 weeks of getting back into the little bread and butter routines...and by blogging at your site, creating HOW I DO IT info products, a very short year from now, YOU

COULD

OWN, and dominate your specific NICHE...targeted toward the noobie entertainer who is seeking a tested and proven strategy to get up and running in this type of business...and if you're smart...and I KNOW you are...you might even want to form your own little "association" and set up a residual aspect to your "MG SCHOOL of Entertaining Success".

Harvey Brody teaches that you can not only ACQUIRE a Toll Position, but you can also CREATE your own toll booth on the highway of prosperity as the PARADE OF LIFE marches by and drops in their toll.

Good on you Millard, now DO the small daily things and watch what happens.

Gordon (Mr. Toll Booth {I wish}) Alexander

PS. That little tiny report has produced a very nice stream of small potatoes income the last couple of months...it is AMAZING how that adds up.

PSS. And ALL my reports will disappear (probably) forever in less than a week. http://www.flylowcollectdough.com
