Fluppi product
 

About a month ago there was a post on this forum about a product called Fluppi, the world's smallest vacuum cleaner.
I ordered a dozen Fluppi's from a source that I got from this forum and it is a very interesting product.
That is once you get it away from its packaging.
The packaging makes me (as someone from the USA) think this product came out 20 or 30 years ago.
Any ideas out there on ways to repackage this item to increase its marketablity without blowing the budget. Would I have to get permission from the mfgr to repackage this in a more attractive manner and look. After all it is 2003 not 1973. Any thoughts out there. BTW it is in a flimsy cardboard box 6 inches by 2 inches by 3 inches.

Get permission first then...put it in a ziplok freezer bag, put a printed large tag on top with "What is it???" and on the reverse, say...it's a Fluppi, Puppy...Turn it on and watch your dog go bananas...

Seriously, that stupid thought just occurred to me and, who knows? it might suggest something useful to someone.

Fred,

For a product with a suggested retail value of between 5 to 7 dollars it is a neat gadget. I've used in in my car for the carpeting and it does a decent job of picking up debris and material on the floor. I thought of a hotel with their maids having one on their cart. It they ever saw something on the hallway carpet that needed a quick pickup, it would be a handy thing to have.
Requiring absolutely no electricity and or batteries to operate it is very flexible.

In actual fact I'm contemplating on purchasing one. Could you tell me some sources? I haven't been able to find them on the forum.

Hi Kevin:

I have an idea for you, which I am going to try myself. I plan to take a few sample fluppi's to a few offices and drop it off in the break rooms and leave a simple sign-up order form. The people can try it out themselves and I'll come back in a day or two to pick up the money and deliver the fluppi's. They will only see the sample fluppi and NOT the box so I won't even worry about the packaging.
