Default When Marlon Sanders...

was promoting a new product a few years ago,
he sent me an e-card with a special invitation
to visit a new web page about the new product.

That is the only e-card that I remember receiving
with a marketing slant.

I have received several e-cards with Happy Birthday,
Merry Christmas, etc. over the years.
Usually, a regular email is sent which includes
a link to the web address of the e-card.

With the increased usage of HTML email, perhaps
the e-card would be worth a try.

Personally, I still prefer text-only email.

For some reason, most of the HTML email I receive
turns into garbage when I open it.
