![]() was promoting a new product a few years ago,
he sent me an e-card with a special invitation to visit a new web page about the new product. That is the only e-card that I remember receiving with a marketing slant. I have received several e-cards with Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, etc. over the years. Usually, a regular email is sent which includes a link to the web address of the e-card. With the increased usage of HTML email, perhaps the e-card would be worth a try. Personally, I still prefer text-only email. For some reason, most of the HTML email I receive turns into garbage when I open it.
