Here is the emotion part! The NEED is perceived. It is truly a WANT. You FEEL you will do a better/faster job and maybe get an edge over your competition by buying the saw.

If I had that saw I could.....

That's what it seems like. IF you had been given a couple of more reasons why the higher-priced saw was better, you most likely would have bought it. (People want to pay more, if only we can give them enough reasons to do so.)
