Re: Consider Joining A Toastmasters Club
Boyd, look for Gordon's posts on the one day
sales course. I did it on my own and it works.
I am, by nature, extremely shy. But I can talk
with strangers a lot easier now, knowing that even
if I'm perfect and I'm not (the only perfect guy
lived 2000 years ago and I'm not him!), that I
won't be able to sell them...some will, some won't
so what, next! For practice you may want to try
a flea market (they're expecting a sales pitch).
Then move onto it.
Oh yeah, one other cool way to do it. Pick out
an item that you'll sell for a buck. And can get
wholesale for less. Say a pen. Then, get this...
"This is my favorite kind of pen. It's great.
Want to buy one"...talk about high pressure sales.
The reason for selling something for $1...damn
little sales resistance. BTW, until a couple years
ago, most mcdonald items were less than a dollar.
BONUS FOR READING THIS FAR....How to make a million dollars. Buy something for 1000 fix it
up and sell for 2000. Repeat 999 more times.
Now, where was that book on chattel, its around
here somewhere....
