Hi Don,
Thanks for sharing that insight... I find it very valuable!
I agree with you - money-making opportunities are all around you... It's a matter of keeping your eyes open, and DOING something about it!
I think a key is that you DID something.... Many people could have the same idea, but then the "what ifs" would start to enter.... What if nobody likes it? What if people think the idea is silly? etc. Then, this becomes an excuse to do nothing about it.... (It can affect me too !)
I read recently about a successful entrepreneur who said this.... What are the TWO hardest words to say in the English language. The TWO TOUGHEST answers to give to a question....
His answer was....
YES and NO!
Most people ummm and aaah ... they don't answer "Yes" or "No". And so, they end up doing nothing....
A lot of very successful entrepreneurs don't have a lot of "education".... In fact, many see TOO MUCH education as a hindrance. Why is that? One answer is that, the more "educated" you are, the harder it can be to say a simple "Yes" or "No".
Instead, you're taught to "analyze" etc. While that can be valuable, it can also become an excuse for stalling.... (I know it can be true....)
Thanks Don - I really gained a lot from your post!
