![]() Here's an interesting article about an offbeat little business. This man runs a NON-ELECTRICAL hardware store. He set it up to sell things mostly to the neighboring Amish where he lives in central Ohio.
However, he also sells his unusual products by mail order. After September 11, he found demand for his non-electrical products shot up. The owner, Galen Lehman, says "We sell products that allow people to be self-sufficient." Some of the products that skyrocketed were oil lamps, water filters and hand pumps, gristmills, butchering supplies and HOW-TO books....
