![]() I just ran across an auction that was about to end on eBay that had the title "Do Not Look - Do Not Bid - This is Not Shabby Chic"
Shabby Chic is a very popular decorating style...and just about everyone (including me) who likes this style probably opened this. The intrigue and reverse psychology was just too much I guess. I guess the ploy worked on most because a simple white lamp that started at $9.99 got 39 bids and ended at $83. Not bad I think. The description of the item, although a tad ungrammatical and such, was just as intriguing. Just in case anybody might find this particular auction as fun as I did I'm including the link to it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2043356310 |
