Hey Mr. Gordon, Gordon, or Gordy, I'm New here, what in the blazes are you talking about???HUH??

Sometimes we all forget that there are NEW people that come to forums, and we all too often ignore these people or give them a somewhat RUDE welcome.

It is RUDE to use lingo and phrases that mean nothing to people who haven't been here before.

I want to remind all you OLD timers (this board is now 6 months old) to not IGNORE the new people who may be here for their first visit.

I know what it is like to go to a new forum and lurk and be intimidated by all the OLD TIMERS...who seem to be one big happy family.

Truth is, we are like a FAMILY, albeit, one that argues, discusses, fights, and fusses over some of the most inane things...but we are only human at best.

This forum does not TOLERATE any personal attacks...other than that, all are welcome here.

You might want to start with Dien Rice's bio, he's the OWNER of this here little spread.

I stay out in the bunkhouse with the rest of the cowhands. I'm a guest here too, just like you.

I do know however that Dien Rice, PhD. is one heck of a nice guy, but don't mess with him. He'll create a ray gun or something and send particles of something through your computer.

What is SG 5.1? I operate a little STUDY GROUP here on the back 40 of Dien's ranch. We sit around the campfire after a hard day's work and share stories on how we can become better with our MAILORDER or INTERNET BUSINESSES.

I use these little child like drawings rather than writing pages of hard to read text. It helps me get my point across.

So, this is intended for all of our FRIENDS who have been here for awhile, to remind you to NOT neglect or ignore the new people, they may not know what DNO means so when you use an abbreviation (and Mr. NET GUERRILLA, this means YOU too) let us know what it means, at least the first time, like this DNO (Do Not Open)...

OK???

And to you new people, stick around, and don't be afraid, we don't bite over here, if you want to be attacked or put down, I'm afraid you'll have to go somewhere else.

We also have moderators throughout the world, and we are quick to delete. If you ever have an issue with something that has been deleted, we'll be glad to give you a reason why in a personal e-mail, fair enough?

I've been around too long and have seen too many quality forums and boards and even their owners disappear because of assualts by the Internet cowards.

We try to keep a clean board for all to use, sometimes a post gets deleted in our efforts, if you feel this has happened to you, just a note to Dien or myself and we'll check into it. OK?
