![]() Hi Gordon,
Ricky Higgs referred me to you. I am just in the process of starting my own Golf Information business. I want to sell e-books and provide a free newsletter based on "Improving your Golf Game, without changing your swing". This is the subject that I am most familiar with because I have played golf since I was 12 (I'm now 43), but, it wasn't until I found out about some secret game improvement techniques that I started winning "A" class tournaments. This was done with no swing lessons and not much practice. As soon as I found out about these keys (which I have never seen published elsewhere), I won 6 straight Club Championships, another major Ottawa Valley event, and several other team events (4 man teams). Please don't misunderstand me. I am not trying to be proud here, I am just saying that this is a subject that I know and would like to write about to benefit others. I have a full time job during the day working for the Government, which I don't particularly like, but, it does provide security. I just want more out of life, since I am not that well off financially. I have most of my first e-book written related to a very particular subject in Amateur golf, but, haven't put it into e-book form yet. I also have to start up my website etc. I just received Corey Rudl's Internet Marketing secrets course and I'll be going over that for the next week. I should also add here that I have lost thousands of dollars over the last several years with on-line MLM companies and that is why I am being careful, and that is why I want to produce my own products. Anyway, I am waiting to here from the U.S.G.A. about whether I am going to lose my Amateur Status if I sell Golf information products on the internet. I will not be giving swing instruction - I will always be stating that if a person wants to change their swing, then they should see their local Golf Professional (CPGA in Canada or PGA pro in the USA). I am tired of losing money and I hope that Corey's course will help point me in the right direction. I have also heard about the "Make Your Site Sell" website and I'll likley order those products after I finish reading Corey's information. I have also visited Mike Enlow's site, but, haven't decided whether I should join his "Masters of Marketing Inner Circle". Sorry for being so long winded. I want to have my website going by April 1, since the Golf Season here in Canada and in much of the USA starts around that time. Do you have any tips on how to get a fast, successful start in this buinsess ? Thank you. Ken Black Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. |
