![]() The research shows the 3 WISE MEN (or 3 Wise Kings) are the most purchased hotsheets and DREAM books on the lottery ever since lotteries began in USA.
There are many variations, Google Images and see. The idea stems from the Bible and in Matt 2:12 where the 3 Wise Men are told in a DREAM not to return to Herod, it is assumed they headed elsewhere. Sort of a conundrum for some believers, because, the Bible mostly warns against astrology, magi, etc. but the lottery players believe winning numbers can be found in DREAMS. And this, not about lottery (you're welcome), but about dreams. When I met with Mena Potts Ph.D. in DREAM interpretation she shared with me her fear...as to why I was there. See, she had a cassette program, and I wanted to explore the possibility of marketing it. She is not only a very smart person, but also suspect (as we all should be) of marketers. She had a "view" of marketers/copywriters and it was something like this: she felt they used puffery, hype, and even walked a very thin line with the truth, her general opinion is one I share: Too many marketers would rather climb a tall tree and shout lies than stay on the ground and tell the truth. I think she was right. But what I took away from that meeting, incidentally, it was arranged by the wonderful marketer Joe Hammer, ...my takeaway was that DREAMS were of universal interest. And my gut feeling then was; most interpretations were BS (or accepted without question). So that started me digging deeper and found it was an ancient art, practiced and written about by the Greeks two thousand years ago...there were even books written. Apparently, the dreams were logged of those sleeping in sacred spaces, and mostly the upper class or aristocracy, as it were. And from then, through the middle ages, where all sorts of other worldly stuff took place, all kinds of DREAM interpretations. Fast forward. TODAY. All kinds of BS books on dreams, not only the 3 Wise Men lottery, but the secrets of Nostradamus, and literally thousands of useless TOMES on the subject. Here is my take, and you can take it or leave it, fair enough? You can make your own DREAM INTERPRETATION book, if you take the time to write your dreams down on your calendar/dairy. I did this for almost 10 years. And using 20/20 hindsight, I could see if any of my dreams had any correlation to the events of my life. NO, for the most part. Then I got into guided visualizations and lucid dreams. I had been practicing Auto Suggestion since 1965, and changed my suggestions to giving my subconscious mind "tasks" to do during my sleep. Now a lot of people have had success with Auto Suggestion for overcoming fears, phobias, and even getting answers to problems which seem to pop into their minds after thinking about it for a long time. Some call it inspiration, and again, many BS books on how to get your subconscious mind to OBEY you and do your bidding. Good luck. Anyhow, I asked my subconscious to give me an understanding of my dreams, and for a long time, the answer came back, it is the trash bin of mental activity...and may be a lot of truth in that answer. But over time, I was able to create my own dream symbols, and as I got better at recognizing all the hints the Universe was giving me, it became pretty easy to INTERPRET my own dreams. So, snakes and teeth falling out...two of the top searched subjects on dreams. What do they mean? It is a snake oil industry, and although I have respect for the professionals, my experiences with them is: if you BELIEVE in them, you will believe in their dream interpretations. And maybe, belief is the bottom line for it all. Turns out, most of us are what we believe ourselves to be...in lottery (sorry) LUCK plays a big role and there are many folk who feel they are UNlucky, and it turns out, it manifests in their lives too. Unlucky baxters. Have you ever ACTED on a dream you had? Called someone you dreamt about? Read a news story, which you saw in your dreams? What magical dream experiences have you had, if any, and what do you make of them? Dreams.
