Ah... the O-MATICS... Yeeessssss. Although, I must say, I have somewhat of a dilema when it comes to the latest one I talked about, and showed you. While it could be tremendously powerful in the right hands, it could cause a lot of annoyance when in the wrong hands and used. I'll have to think of a way around that problem, or of a way to reduce that problem.

It was the FIRST thing that popped into my head when I saw the announcement.

And call it synchronicity or whatever, but a few months back I got a very casual (couple hours every couple of weeks) "job" with an Australian company with offices in New York. Getting this "job" was to serve two purposes. And once the first purpose was served I Quit.

While waiting to hear back from them regarding the second purpose, I instead received a letter from the newly appointed administrators announcing a meeting of creditors. Looks like there's going to be a lot of "availables" in the near future... and in an often overlooked area based around what we've been talking about.

Needless to say (so why am I saying it), my letter has been sent off.

I'm thinking of Greek Mythology here... and in particular the bit about people attached by chains to a controlling entity (this symbolism is sometimes used in certain Tarot decks). The people are freely dancing around but still chained. And they never realise their chained freedom allows them to cut loose the chains.

While my 'net "retirement" is only new, I already feel the extra freedom of loosing that chain.
