![]() I agree with you, I think this element of "timing" is too often overlooked!
I think the example from Melvin Powers kind of "proves" the rule.... He is undoubtedly a brilliantly successful marketer, but even with his powerful copywriting skills, he couldn't overcome the element of timing! The 100th Anniversary of Einstein's birth proved to be the more powerful force (in his case).... Copywriting is important, I believe.... But of the two forces, I agree with you that the right timing is probably the more powerful of the two.... Thanks Gordon, I thought that was one of the most brilliant posts I've ever read. It really gives you a lot of food for thought.... Now I'm going to mull this over and digest these great nuggets of wisdom.... :) - Dien |
