Default The big difference to success that ONE WORD can make!

Great post! This part really struck me, I guess because it's been a "revelation" for me just recently.... You wrote:

Gordon, a while ago I bought Jim Straw's report, Get $1000 - $5000 Free and Clear within 30 Days!

Now, not only does this report tell you how to do what the title promises - but - there's an added bonus. But I didn't see it immediately.

At the start of Jim's report, he tells about a friend of his who needed to raise $1000 in 30 days, starting with only a $10 investment (that's all he had left). The "hidden" bonus is that Jim Straw tells you the thought processes Jim goes through to come up with the plan to help his friend raise that money, given the limitations.... A plan which worked by the way....

But, one thing which struck me was the initial question Jim asked himself. It was not, "If I was in his shoes, how COULD I raise $1000 in 30 days" - No! He phrased it as, "If I was in his shoes, how WOULD I raise $1000 in 30 days"!

I only noticed this distinction a few days ago, as I was re-reading the report.... I had decided to try to replicate Jim Straw's approach to coming up with a new business. (If you have this report, then this is a great exercise to do.) And it struck me. I tend to naturally ask myself, "How CAN I raise $1000?" After noticing how Jim does it, I tried asking myself, "How WILL I raise $1000?" (or whatever your specific question might be).

There IS a difference.... It may seem subtle, but to me it HAS made a difference. The reason why is that there are plenty of ways I COULD make money, but which I probably WOULD NOT do - for example, they may not suit my personality, or I may feel uncomfortable with it for one reason or another. But your brain seems to only answer the questions you put to it.

If you ask your brain, "How CAN I ________ ?" your brain with respond with how you COULD do it, but with ways which you might not be actually WILLing to do.

But, if you ask your brain, "How WILL I ________ ?" your brain will come up with all kinds of ways to do something, ways that you are WILLing to do!

That's simply because, by changing ONE WORD, you change precisely what you are asking your mind to solve. That ONE WORD can make a whole heap of difference!

There's lots of other great stuff in Jim's report, such as the greater specifics of his method of how he came up with a new business idea, and the actual business idea itself. I know it's been a greater education to me than I expected from a $10 report.... :)

And I'm still amazed at the difference that ONE WORD can make! Try it yourself.... :)
