![]() Hi Gordon!
> NOW, here is where you can help us. What > would you like to know about the MASTERS? > What kind of material on video would hold > your interest? Would you want a summary of > their opinions? > Would you want to ask them questions? > What would you ask? And WHOM would you ask? This sounds like a great project. :) There are a LOT of great "masters" to choose from - those of the past (Claude Hopkins for instance) and those of today (well, can we count you? :) ).... I would personally be interested in a mixture of stuff.... A bit of biographical info, especially if they had a few "failures" before they achieved their success. Not long ago I started reading "Being Direct: Making Advertising Pay" by Lester Wunderman. Wunderman is one of the "pioneers" of the direct marketing industry, and his book is an autobiography.... One of the fascinating things to me in that book were his early beginnings. Many people don't just leap into success, they crash a few times before they really get on track, and reading about these experiences is fascinating. That's another great thing about Joe Sugarman, too, he also tells you about his failures, which gives you a bit of hope when you're still starting out! I think some biographical info, their failures as well as their success, and their success strategies, wow, for me that would be a "must get" product.... :) If you could get the participation of some of these other masters it would be an added bonus.... I think for me, at this stage anyhow, I'd mostly be curious in knowing the specific path they took from being "nobodies" to becoming successful.... What was their first project they took on? Was it a failure or a success? How long until they started having BIG success? For most people, they fall down a few times before making it big, and it's useful to know these kinds of details.... Thanks Gordon, great post and it got me thinking.... - Dien Rice |
