Gordon,

You're absolutely correct on things like free PR...I should have touched on that, my mistake. But to even send out say 400 press releases via fax or mail, you need a few dollars to work with, not much but a few. You don't need a lot of money to test a product or idea. Send out a few hundred press releases, place a couple small display ads in low-circulation magazines and run a couple two-step classifieds in low-circulation magazines and you probably wouldn't have any more than $300-$500 invested. Not a great deal of money, but enough to tell you if you should go forward or not. The question is how to get that amount of money to get started...I think the Chattel Report, Don Alm and Jim Straw can help someone get that money.
