![]() Hello,
First, let me say it's been a loooong time since I've posted any messages here. I have, however, been visiting... quietly. :-) O.K.... on to: "Would you do this?" Today I stopped at a house that is up for sale. (The open house is tomorrow.) The retired couple had a garage sell... yet, they still have a LOT of nice items they no longer want, and don't want to spend any more time packing, moving, or garage selling. I was instantly reminded of some of the posts by Gordon about selling items... chatteling. So, I wondered... what if I offered to remove *everything* from the garage for them in exchange for them to allow me to keep whatever I want from the garage. That way... the job for them is finished. And, I might have some items to turn around and sell. So first... do you think this is a good idea... a win-win situation for both of us? And second... if so, would you try selling the items on ebay? (I have *no* experience/knowledge of selling or buying on ebay.) I would love to get your thoughts/opinions on this idea. As always, thank you in advance for your time and assistance. Cordially, Diane Everroad It Works! ![]() |
