What Gordon shares with the KING.... Elvis Presley

An amazing quote. :) What did the KING know, that he could be a GIANT of the music industry -- and know NOTHING about music?

GORDON gave us the secret ALREADY. You can find it in one of his stories, available from the main SOWPUB web site....

There must be a zillion people in the world who know more about bread than Gordon does....

But Gordon is the one who promoted white bread so they bought out the whole store's stock of bread in just 2 hours. They had to get a backup supply from the local bakery!

I was listening to some of Elvis's music today…. Especially the early stuff….

Heartbreak hotel, Hound dog, Jailhouse rock….

And I thought about what they had in common…. I came up with....

ENERGY!

ENTHUSIASM!

or as Julie Jordan Scott likes to say….

PASSION!

Sometimes, even in the slower songs, the ENERGY and PASSION was still lurking there beneath the surface when you listen to his voice…. He could hardly keep his ENERGY and ENTHUSIASM down….

And even today, people make their pilgrimage to Graceland…. To visit a man who himself says he didn't know a thing about MUSIC, but....

Who sure knew something about PASSION! Now, you might not be able to sing...

But you too could be a KING or QUEEN -- with enough EXCITEMENT and ENTHUSIASM!

So if you want to perk things up, put on a CD and listen to the KING....

I guarantee you'll be ALL SHOOK UP! :)
