Default For lots of impulsive buyers...

Gordon,

You could tie a red ribbon around some of your audios and make some type of holiday display and then attempt to find someone who is participating in a large holiday gift show (like some that are held in the large city convention centers...for instance) and work out an arrangement for them to sell some for you alongside of their own items.

In Houston, there is a HUGE gift show called The Nutcracker Market which is sponsored by the Houston Ballet. It is always held in early November...before people spend their money elsewhere. It costs about $1500.00 and up to participate as a seller in a 3 day show like this.

At the show, there are gourmet foods, rare coins, gift baskets, jewelry in all price ranges, calendars, cookoo clocks, some crafts, lots of imports and novelties and stocking stuffer items -just about anything you can imagine. Items in all price ranges.

Most importantly, thousands of women come there to BUY, not just to browse as they do in craft shows. Many sellers have confessed to me that they run out of product before the 3 day show is over. It's amazing. Even the lady selling calendars always sells out!

Also, many of the retailers with shops in other parts of the city, don't want to miss the chance to be represented there.

I am not selling at that show this year but wish that I were! :)

Also, if you know anyone who has a fax 'hotsheet' business with various offers going to offices where the receptionist or secretaries have a chance to see them, that may work to get their attention.

But, for impulsive buyers, there is nothing like having your items( with that red ribbon so sweetly tied around the audio) ready for the ladies to put their hands on immediately... and you can't beat those giant gift shows for getting in front of women who are buying for the people on their gift lists at these type of events...not themselves.

Good luck!
Amber
