![]() Hi Everyone!
Yes, November 3, 2000 will be in my memory banks forever. It is replacing January 21, 1998. Once I noted to a group of friends how oftentimes we never know when the last time is that something significant happens as it is happening. Like the last time you see a loved one or the last time you hear a voice that is dear to you. Well, yesterday when I was buying a bottle of chardonnay for a party I was going to (I was assigned to bring drinks)I got carded! WOW! And my personal favorite part was the guy took my ID, looked at it, looked at me and said, "I never would have guessed." 1962! I got a great boost! And a new date to remember. My friends at the party got a good laugh as I gloated, and then understood what I meant about not knowing significant "last times". It reminds me that if we choose to be mindful and live every day and every situation as if it was our "last time" how much more full our lives would truly become. Just some Saturday ramblings from California! With Purpose and Passion, JULIE JORDAN SCOTT "I would Never Have Guessed!" ![]() |
