Correct. In this case it would be very controlled. I would market the e-booklet only through select sites. There are ways to control the license so that if said e-book is copied, it won't open on any other computer. This is *exactly* what Mighty Words is doing. There are some *HUGE* downsides to doing it this way and I wouldn't use their method but the point is this part of the process can be as controlled as you want it.

Ok. So there are 24/7 methods to support both of us.

I suspect the upfront cost for this would be higher than for the all-electronic method. Plus, who pays delivery costs? Again, with the all-electronic method delivery costs are almost non-existent.

Well, software support can be semi-automated as well. First, proper software design will cut down on support issues. Second, good online help will reduce support issues as well. Third, creating an FAQ page(s) of well... frequently asked questions will reduce this as well. And for the support that you do have to do, that can be handled via e-mail. Only. It would be stated up front. Something like, "in order to keep our costs low and pass the savings onto you, we are able to respond to support requests via e-mail only." Yes. You're correct. Support *can* be a huge time and money sink. But if done correctly, it doesn't have to be.

Looking forward to it! Bring it on! *g*
