![]() Further down the forum, Alwyn says he'd like to help others, but they don't listen.... And he gets very frustrated by that....
It's not unique. Everyone is always more concerned with their own thoughts and preoccupations than with what you might have to say.... This is all explained in Remote Hypnosis. Anyhow, here's some other great advice I've received.... There's a relatively young guy, Dr. K., who's risen up fast in the world of Quantum Optics (my field in physics). He's based at Los Alamos National Laboratory, one of the US Government's major scientific labs, and where the A-Bomb was invented half a century ago. I know him personally, and I visited him there in 1998.... The first night I was there, I stayed at K's house (in his guest bedroom) in Santa Fe. That evening, we walked to a nice restaurant for dinner.... Along the way, I asked K. for his advice regarding writing research papers. How do you get attention? I asked him, because his research papers were INTERESTING to read. They CAPTIVATED your attention. Here's what K. told me.... But first, I want to say this suggestion is VITAL if you want to hold people's attention. You'll capture it and they won't be able to let go.... So if you want people to read what you have written, it's a great technique to know.... My friend K. said, if you take a child, and tell the child, "The sky is blue because particles in the air bend the blue light more than the red light" -- he'll look at you with a look of complete boredom. "So what?" will probably be the reply. But if you first ask, "Why is the sky blue?" Let them think about it. Don't tell them the answer -- not yet! Leave them hanging.... If you do that, when you come to the answer, you'll have their full attention! You've whetted their appetite for the answer.... It's like going to eat a meal. If you first smell the delicious aroma of the food cooking, your mouth starts to salivate! When the food finally comes, you're ready to wolf it down! But if you just come for a meal, and it's immediately shoved in your face -- well, you don't appreciate the food as much. I've read about studies which show that the longer people have to wait in a restaurant for their food, generally the higher they rank the quality of the food. They make you wait by design! Others call this technique "salting".... That's because you first give them a lot of "salt" to make them thirsty, before you give them the glass of water! It really works! And this suggestion is only the tip of the iceberg.... Remote Hypnosis has many deeper techniques of influence, and it reveals the major preoccupations, and how you can use them. Use these techniques, and others will pay ATTENTION to what you have to say.... Dien Rice Remote Hypnosis |
