Weapons of Influence. A discussion.

I open the floor for discussion.

Influence. Persuasion. Taking control of someone else's mind, even if for a few seconds.

I find myself in a quandry. A real conundrum.

And I'm leaning (at this moment) more toward Bill Hicks than toward the making of a buck.

Bill Hicks was a stand-up comedian, banned from the Letterman show, who did a routine about marketers. Basically his routine was...Marketers DIE..go kill yourselves.

He hated marketers. Or rather the deceptive tactics used on us to get us to buy stuff.

Stuff like drugs. Drugs by prescription...or recreational drugs. See?

Just calling street drugs, RECREATIONAL, is a reframing. A snow job. A PR campaign of rationalization.

We want FDA approved drugs. Like Phen Fen, Posicor, Avandia, Vioxx...

you know, those APPROVED drugs which have killed tens of thousands of people...

I wonder how many marijuana related deaths there were last year? We know prescription drugs (FDA approved) killed over 100,000 people.

Along the same lines...in the discussion of being DUPED...

I wonder how many people lost thousands of dollars to those people selling Internet Marketing business opportunites...be they of the Syndicate, the Third Tribe, the Four hour work week...the late night TV infoGurus...ad infinitum.

WEAPONS of mass influence have been LAUNCHED against us...and the biggest, largest and most devious of all SALES machines has been fired up here in the USA...
