After every 7 posts, I'll do a summary. May or may not focus on the previous 7 posts, we'll see. And since I'm in a manic mood, I'll be posting a lot n the next few weeks.

1- Reason for this new blog.

I set up Jay's Blog Forum so I could make daily (or hourly, even minutely?) posts on all things Jay Alexander, that eclectic, diverse and open minded side of me. Gordon is more anal, set in his ways of thinking. Anyhow, split personality aside...

I have a lot to say and want it organized and in one place for fast and easy reference for the future. Also, I got tired of the Warrior Forum and figured I could start my own bargain basement of thought right here, no need to go to WF for my daily fix of stupidity...got plenty of that in pocket. That being said, there are 16 Warriors who give useful, actionable and intelligent contribution, mostly based on their experience. But it is hard to wade through the BS to find them.

2-SowPub main forum was set up as a business forum. Down here, I'm willing to go outside the business box and explore other lakes of the Internet.

3-For this forum, I want to the MAP MAKER. It is something which I've found to be lacking...the setting of goals, knowing what you want and designing a way to get it. So, I call upon all 66 years of my life and not just the 40+ spent in the business world.

SUMMARY OF FIRST 7 POSTS.

You do have control of your life, if you feel you don't, then you have probably surrendered the control.

You need to know what you want. Otherwise. How will you know when you get it? With the MAP metaphor, you select your destination.

Figure out the distance in TIME (I like to start at one year).
Then the route. Which way to get there.
What does the destination look like?

What do you need to pack in your bags, what skills/knowledge do you need to bring along (the action)? Where are the mile markers to measure progress?

There ARE NO RULES regarding the speed which money is made...as long as you are mentally, physically and spiritually congruent with what you are doing...

Riches can come to you as fast as you either make or Allow...

And the most IMPORTANT part of this new forum, and never forget this...
