![]() Roadside diners tend to all have the same kind of food. People could get bored eating the same burgers and french fries over and over.
The owner of a diner in Alberta, Canada decided to be very un-boring, and offer some very exotic foods. On the first day of his experiment, he offered kangaroo meat - and sold out the same day. The next day, he added alligator to the menu - and sold out of that later that day too! Since then, he's also added exotic foods like turtle, yak, python, camel, and shark. The business has expanded since the offerings became a lot more exotic! This is something other diners could try. Keep the "standard" foods - but expand the menu. There could even be different "specials" for different days of the week. It could cause sales to jump! http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmont...erta-1.3651758
