Default Mark Nolan whereabouts these days?

Hi Everyone -

I remember back in the Mid-90's Mark (Mike?) Nolan was one of those "select" guru's that dispensed great marketing info. What I always liked about the guy was, he was much less hype and much more "this is all ya' need" or "this works, that doesn't - here's what i did" ...

...what really blew me away about the guy was, he had a fairly expensive mentoring type consulting type product that I actually called him on. There I was literally ready to hand the guy my money (rather than do the hard work I needed to do) ... and he literally turned me away. He explained what I really needed to do first (build my self a good "engine" as he called it) ...and test-test-test ... then if I still needed his service, give him a call. And it wasn't like he was curt about this - he literally spent a good 45 minutes or so on the phone with me and took the time really map out my alternatives.

I gotta' tell ya' - that kind of integrity really struck me - and even more-so today, looking back on it...

...so my question is, has anyone had any experience with Mark and second, with all the transitioning to online - does anyone know what he's up to today?

Your thoughts or experience would be appreciated.

P.S. -Yeah, yeah I know "do a google search" ..I'm going to - just want peoples opinions here first

Default Oh - one thing I forgot to mention...

...back in the late 90's he used to frequent Bill Myers old "free" board ... I remember him posting how he got caught up in some MLM stuff. This was another reason I respected the guy - ya' see, he went out and tried to see if this (cr*p) worked, found out it didnt' - and was humble enough to come back on the board and admit it. After that he disappeared.

The poster below on some MLM scheme is what reminded me of all this.

Default Re: Mark is alive and well but..

..has totally retired from marketing, consulting, etc and is pursuing other interests.

You are right he is a great guy and I still have contact with him farily often.

I've also learned a lot from him over the years. Although it's out of print now if you can find a copy of his book "Instant Cash Flow" I think it's one of the best and one of the most straight forward books around on increasing cash flow with very little money. I still have some of his articles on my website.

Default I'll give you a Mark Nolan video...

...if you identify yourself and you are the lucky
individual to have his name drawn on the day
we give away one of three Mark Nolan videos.
(Lots of other stuff from other folks, too.)

Yes, I remember Mark. I really liked his stuff,
too. I received his newsletter for a while...
he was starting to get involved on the web
and then he just dropped out of sight.

Ron, invite Mark to stop by some time...he's still
got a lot of friends that would be glad to hear
from him.

BTW, I really am giving away some of Mark's videos
through a drawing...check out Subscribe-a-rama...

Default Re: Mark Nolan whereabouts these days?

Last I heard he was in the middle of a very nasty divorce and he retired from the business. This was a few years ago.

Great guy, great products. I hope he's doing well wherever he is.
