![]() Gordon,
Thank you for the great post. There is a lot of great food for thought info in it. I definitely have been plastered with "Make $1,000 per month" or "Join for Free - Make Tons" yada yada yada. Being gun shy is when you have a bad experience and are approached with the same or similar situation dowm the road and you are more careful or hesitant. I have not been burned yet, but I have read posts about so many burns that I am almost gun shy from other folks' bad experiences. Quite nerve racking when you are as new to the Internet world as I am. I have such a hard time knowing who to believe anymore I find myself absorbing what seems right and doing my own thing with it. I spent some time last week (almost an hour) reading the user profiles of this board and the story of when Dien met you at your home town. I went on to read your Take Your Map With You story. After reading the stories from you, Dien and others I got a sense of realness. That is pretty rare and one of the reasons I come to this board several times a day - to learn. Thanks again, Dennis (gun shy) Anglin |

I don't blame you for being gun shy. There's a lot of junk out there. A lot wolves in sheep's clothing. But you've already discovered one of the things that makes this board unique, the realness of the people behind it. Let me just say this. When Gordon tells you about the "World's Greatest Go Cart" or "The Center of the Universe," you can rest assured those places are real. I've been to them with Gordon as my tour guide. And I've met Dr. Dien Rice. He, Gordon, and I met for dinner last year at The Sheraton in Cuyahoga Falls. These guys are for real. They walk the talk. And when they don't know something, they'll tell you they don't know it. If there are any smoke and mirrors here, I haven't found them yet. In fact, I believe enough in what Gordon stands for that he and I are working on some joint ventures together.
