One guy in the UK had a great idea...

He bought a tank (really an armored personnel carrier)...

And people can hire it for weddings!

What an impression, arriving to your wedding and/or leaving in a "tank!"

Right now, he's only licensed for weddings and funerals, but hopes to be able to also soon do proms and birthday parties...

It cost him about $35,000 for the armored personnel carrier and repairs... He charges about $1,000 per trip.

So, just 35 trips and he's broken even!

(Well... Apart from fuel...)

This is a great idea!

The use of a military vehicle is eye-opening.

There is no reason you cannot do something like this with any other unusual car or truck.

Years ago, I had a friend who had a very unusual orange car. It was a long car with GIANT fins in the back. It was a cross between the Oscar Myer car and a limo... with fins. He used it to get people to talk with him, so he could pitch a sales offer at the time. There was NO WAY he was a ignored when he pulled into a restaurant !

I agree with you... any unusual car or truck that gets positive attention would probably work!

Everyone wants their big day (wedding, prom, birthday, anniversary) to be unique and memorable...

Jim told me he'd "Borrow" a Tank from a nearby Military Base.

Park it up front at A Car Dealership.

Right Next to the Road.

Sign Says, "Test Drive a Tank"

Long Lines.

Jim also organized a Hotdog Cart owner to be nearby so people had something to Eat and Drink while they waited.

Of Course.

All those Car owners Surrounded by new cars.

People are gonna LOOK.

Test Drive then Buy a car.
