![]() Thanks Gordon!
These two examples are inspiring too.... :) As we know, anyone can help his or her fellow person who is less privileged.... It doesn't necessarily mean through handouts -- it could be through words of sage advice.... Sometimes, a few words of true wisdom can mean much more than millions of dollars, if it helps someone get back on their feet.... It's an important thing to keep in mind.... In the end, money is something you can't take with you. You're going to leave it behind whether you like it or not.... BUT, I do believe that your good deeds, those various things you've done to help others, are something which you perhaps you can take with you after you've gone.... Perhaps, that's a part of "true" wealth.... "True" wealth is, of course, not just something in your wallet, pocketbook, or bank account, but something you experience inside too.... Thanks Gordon for this wonderful reminder.... :) - Dien |
