Default Getting People Interested

People have been using AI to get leads for some time as well as giving away lead generators to develop their lists.

Yeah, I get it... If someone is going to sell to a list... ya gotta have a list!
However, the type of sales I do... which is helping people one-to-one... is particularly suited to just talking with people !

One of the things that I learned back when I was a teenager was to become interested in people. I think it was Dale Carnegie who said that if you talked with people about themselves, they would talk for hours and think that you were a great conversationalist.

Glenn's lunch antics with lottery tickets not only get him free lunches, but people interested in talking with him. (And don't forget his clown nose gambit)

I've used simple magic tricks in the past to get people to pay attention. There is no reason you couldn't use simple magic tricks to make points in a presentation. (There are books discussing this technique for sales)

What we are really talking about is schmoozing. Just getting together with folks, creating rapport... and talking... with persuasion.

Just to be simple... be interested in the other person.

Default Creating rapport... Can AI do it?

Hi Millard,

Very interesting post!

I think you're right... all those are ways to get rapport, whether asking people about their own interests (a la Dale Carnegie), or using lotto tickets or funny trinkets (a la Glenn), or using magic tricks (a la Millard)... It all gets people to want to talk with you, and get on your wavelength!

Can AI do this? In a face-to-face setting... definitely not! Maybe one day it can do something with video... but we're not there yet!

Creating that connection is vitally important... One-on-one... or on a "mass" basis as well...

Some believe that AI will never be able to make that "true" human connection...

Best wishes!

Dien

Default Owner of Ai Service Company FREAKED Out & Sold Out

Thanks Dien,

Unfortunately.

Robot Ai Intelligence is ALREADY adept at creating Intimate Levels of Rapport.

Woman Company Owner On TED TALKS reported men
started talking for HOURS to the Ai "Females"
used in her "Services" Biz.

And when She Tried to Discourage this.

Guys would Hunt thru all of her Companies until the "FOUND" the Ai they LIKED
AGAIN.

This is Pretty SCARY.

Why SCARY?

If Ai Avatars can Create this Level of DEEPER RAPPORT. People will Spill all kinds
of SECRETS.

Intimate stuff you DO NOT Want on-Line in The COLD
HANDS of a Robot.

Waitress Told me, "I am sleeping with my current Husband AND my Ex to Keep The Child Support Coming."

Waitress Told me, "Oh, I NEVER eat here. I see how the Food is Fixed. YUCK.

(I walked out)

Cook Told me, "After cooking for 8 hours here. I go to XYZ and Cook for another
8 hrs."

Dunno about you.

Would You Wanna Eat food Cooked by a guy who has been on his feet
In a HOT Kitchen for 16 hours?

HECK NO!

Thanks,
Glenn

Default AI Rapport

Would this actually be rapport or something else?

When I was performing, one of the magic catalogs had an effect called"En Rapport." This was a mental magic effect where the performer supposedly reads minds. There is a faux deep connection in this particular magic effect.

For years, when I was on the niteclub circuit, I pretended this was the case, this "Deep Connection."

I do not know the platform you speak of...but do the men actually KNOW they are speaking to AI? Are the men playing a game? Are they deluding them selves thinking they are speaking to a real person?

If the men DO NOT know it is AI, then, of course, they will talk for hours to someone who will listen.

Could it also be that these men are LONELY and cannot FIND someone real to talk about their wants and needs. If this is the case, then, yes there are problems.

When I was in college, I would go to the computer lab and ask silly questions just to find out what the computer would reply. Could some guys be just so intrigued, they can't stop? Who knows.

One thing I've found which bears investigation is that AI is so good at some things (like audio or video) it is becoming harder to determine what is real and what is not !

Default Question for Millard - About Creating My Own AVATAR

Thanks Millard,

In my Experience FAKE Rapport is REAL Rapport.

It's Literally ELECTRICITY btwn People.

You have it or you don't.

And that CHILL you feel when you COLD CALL is when you do not have RAPPORT.

My Question.

Where might I go to Create some AVATAR Talking Heads
to TEST to my LIST?

To find out which one they LIKE.

Thanks,
Glenn

I was just looking at something new from GOOGLE
called "Flow" i think.

But I ain't paying THOUSANDS to test.

Just like all my MENTORS Refused to Pay to Run a TV, Radio, Newspaper
Ad.

We TEST First.

Then Pay.

Default Creating Avatar

Hey Glenn,

Thanks for the question.

I used HeyGen recently to create a picture of my wife saying a sentence. It worked well.

I also loaded images into ChatGPT to create a very good headshot of myself.

Eleven Labs does a good job of recreating voices.

Revoicer does as well: https://revoicer.com/voice-clone-offer/

Here's a link to create an avatar:

https://businessmagnete.com/how-to-c...oogle_vignette

Here is another from Synthesia: https://www.synthesia.io/features/av...9d72eaea26e 4

One of the best sources I have found for AI stuff is Matt Wolfe. He has a LOT of video on Youtube. He also has a site for AI tools:

https://www.futuretools.io

Almost all of these sites and programs have FREE options so you can try them out... but most have inexpensive options of $20 a month. I would imagine you could try on out for free to test it, then pay $20 and be finished before having to renew.

In any case, my personal experience has only been with using HeyGen, ChatGPT, ElevenLabs, and Perplexity(for writing).

Matt Wolfe gives a really good summary of what is going on in the world of AI on his YouTube channel every week... you might want to look into his videos.

Jason Hamilton take on using AI for writing is a good source too... he calls himself The Nerdy Novelist.

Hope this is helpful for you.

Cheers,

Millard
