![]() This hot breaking news item from the unusual side of the world of product creation..... :)
Have you ever been at your desk, and felt tired? Your eyes drooped, so much that you wanted to go to sleep? Were you looking for a solution to this common problem? Well, then this may be just what you were looking for.... The besk! It's a desk that turns into a bed! So now, if you start nodding off while working at your desk, don't fret.... Just lie down and pull up the covers. :) There are few other "wacky" product items in the article I've linked to below.... I didn't mention the best one. You know those vending machines, where you can get all kinds of snacks, chips, chocolates, and drinks.... Well, I bet you never thought of a vending machine which dispenses this.... (See the article linked to below, it's the last item in the article....) I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. :) By the way, the vending machine idea actually kind of makes sense when you think about it.... It could even be a success (strange as it will seem when you read it).... - Dien Rice Some wacky results from the product-creation front.... |

![]() Hi Michael!
I read your note! (I had to reload, because I still had your old web site in my cache....) I agree with you about offline opportunities.... MOST of the opportunities are STILL offline, though sometimes doing a combination of online sales of "real world" products can work well.... :) Thanks for providing an immense resource with your web site over the years, Michael! In my view, you're one of the most knowledgeable business types around.... What you said in your note was that most of what works online are versions of what's already worked offline.... Man, you're right! I didn't think of that! And getting paid multiple times for doing some work once sure sounds like the right way to go.... I know this will work out well for you, I don't know if our recent talk of leverage here has affected your thinking, but it sure has mine! All the best with your "move"! And also thanks for the great tips in your note! :) Dien |

Thanks for your kind words. > What you said in your note was that most of > what works online are versions of what's > already worked offline.... Man, you're > right! I didn't think of that! I hadn't sat down and thought about it either, until... > I > don't know if our recent talk of leverage > here has affected your thinking, I found out about my client's expansion. My thoughts were alreday headed in the direction I've taken. Her results where the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak. Having made that tentative decision my mind then needed to find evidence to justify the action - as it always does with all decisions we make, which is why it's easier to up-sell after the decision to buy has been made then it is to sell the whole thing in the first instance (little decisions lead to bigger decisions as our mind backs up the decisions we make - decide on emotion back it up with logic). What my mind presented to me, by way of back up, was the evidence of what works online has first worked offline. With plenty of examples to prove it. And to further cement the decision, I announced it publicly. As I don't announce every little thing publicly - my announcement carries a lot of weight. > All the best with your "move"! Thanks. > And also thanks for the great tips in your > note! :) You're welcome. Michael Ross. |

![]() > I Quit Michael Ross
Hi Michael, I believe you have the right idea. I've seen so many of the topnotch Internet marketers claim that only a small percentage of their income comes from their online activities. Some of my customers have told me this as well. One in particular whose website I built is making him roughly $70,000 per year, claims that this is only about 15% of his total gross income. Most of it is generated from off-line mail order and advertising in magazines. I plan on following your advice. I wish to do some offline advertising. As well I've been asked to speak at a seminar in October. But quite honestly, delivering online solutions looks very promising as well. Myself and a programmer I hired are just putting the finishing touches on a affiliate program script that we created. It will fit a specific niche of marketers -- ones that use aweber.com for multi-followup autoresponders. It is an affiliate program totally driven by autoresponders, which makes it a bit different than anything else I have seen available. These type of programs, as well as hosting, you have listed high up on your "That's where Your Money Is!!" I couldn't agree more. I think you're dead on with these statements and that's why I am developing into these areas. I wanted to post this message so that you would know I'm not disagreeable ALL the time. ;-) I really do wish you well in your offline endeavors, and I know your future will bring many successes. Thank-you for your input you have provided over the years. Best Regards, Steve MacLellan homebusiness-websites.com |
