Default Re: Whistler Getaways for Geezers...

Anya and Gordon and all others. Two years ago I
had the great experience of a summer vacation
in Whistler. There were eight couples and we
rented two very large log cabins( they were
really mansions in my opinion) next door to each
other.
There are several really fine golf courses including The Whistler Resort course, The new
Nicklaus Course, The Municipal Course and
Big Sky which is breathtaking with the
surrounding mountains and glaciers.
We used the ski lifts for many lunches at the
Ski Lodges and we saw black bears and cubs from
the ski lift chairs.
We also took a few hikes into some very scenic
back country.
All in all, this was one of my best vacations
and I plan to return again summer and winter.
These posts bring back some very fond memories.

Thanks,
Bill Rhodes

PS The night time skies were full of millions
of stars that you could almost reach out and touch.
