![]() to visit Gordon, or at least I felt like I was there!
How very enjoyable that must have been, seeing all those sites, listening for the voice of Mary, seeing the Suarez Mansions, in fact if I close my eyes I can almost hear Gordon chatting amiably of his adventures....(and I have never heard his voice! Fancy that!) I also enjoy meeting those who I know from on line. One of my favorite friends from online is another Aussie business man. Great stories and interesting perspective. We always share a meal and philosophy when he passes through Los Angeles. I am still not feeling tip top, but hope to be back full force in the next day or two. I think I over did it yesterday and am now paying for it! With Purpose and Passion, JULIE PS-I also read your biography....Physics? I stopped at Chemistry....but I think as an adult I could probably take those courses I was afraid of as a kid.....just give me a calculas book and some time! :-) 5passions.com |

![]() It WAS a wonderful trip.... Actually, I didn't even write about Day 2 yet.... (Though Day 2 was a bit less structured than Day 1)....
Let me share something with you.... Gordon has been very generous to me, both with his knowledge and in other ways.... The knowledge he shares here is from his generosity too.... I'm also glad you enjoyed my short little biography, Julie.... Life has been a fun adventure for me (though I may rewrite the bio to reflect that a little bit more).... Well, the last several years anyhow. :) And Sowpub is the next stage of its exciting run! I'd like to take you all with me.... :) - Dien |

Fancy that!) Now wait a minute. I was there for several hours of this whole adventure and Gordon did nothing like "chatting amiably"! *g* He was constantly animated and in the middle of every discussion! *g* He was a wild man! And Dien? He's everything you've read about. He's the perfect guy to bring SOW to life. Seriously though, it was a great time and I wish everyone here could have been there. My "amiably" and the next person's "Chatting amiably" may not compute! :-) > And Dien? He's everything you've read about. > He's the perfect guy to bring SOW to life. ***Here, here, Rick! You must've been right here on the board when I posted that. Anyway, you would have loved the discussions. There was plenty of passion to go around and then some! *g* Rick Smith, "The Net Guerrilla" |
