Default U.S. Elections - how will results affect your business?

Just curious about how (or if) you feel the results of yesterday's election (local or national) will affect your business. Short term or long-term.

I was disappointed by many of the results, particularly the passage of the stem cell/cloning amendment in Missouri, where I live. Moral question aside, I felt that if people couldn't even agree what the amendment SAID, it shouldn't be added to the Constitution!

However, I don't feel much will affect my business, although it will be interesting to see how the shift in the Congress affects getting anything DONE for 2 years.

I hope they work together. But what the right ads no business should ever suffer. And even during a depression if we ever get one again don't stop advertising.

Did you know Roosevelt during world war II has cabnet members that were republicans. He was a smart poltician. Not like Wilson in the past and Bush today. Who saids they learn from History, not our President, who I like, don't get me wrong. But he is not an asute politician, like old Roosevelt.

The situation is dire indeed:

Your business is going to be hit -- HARD -- by tax increases.

Your business may be hit by new regulations as liberals love to regulate everything.

The Internet may become regulated so if you have an Internet business, you may be in trouble.

The US already has about 10% of Mexico's population, you can bet more will want to sneak into the US. Read up on how business is done in Mexico, and things don't look good 20 years from now. Keep in mind, they are soon to become the majority ethnic group in the country and they don't care about your equal rights to a job, your business rights, etc.

Even though my guys didn't win ( not sure they were my guys anymore, either) I have a feeling ,based on nothing, that there will be one thing we might not have to worry about.
I think the Dems are less likely to push Net Neutrality. That's the one where the big boys can afford to pay the telecoms for faster internet access and we little guys get left with slow internet delivery.

I think you mean that the Democrats are MORE likely to push for Net Neutrality (or less likely to be against Net Neutrality.)

Yeah, Bill. That was it. Thanks for clarifying my gobbledy-gook.
