Actually, Teen Makeup wasn't my first choice - but it was the one I knew the most about and could do the quickest, for the purposes of this "10 Day" program. I think this proves that even if you don't think your idea for a product will be the best one - if it has a niche, as Gordon said, it's got a good chance if you'll just start moving and do something with it. Even if it "fails", the learning experience alone will help you produce a better product the next time. Now that I've done one, I plan to do more! > She has TESTED, tested, tested...GOTTEN a > ton of feedback, separated the wheat from > the chaff and is about to launch an > affiliate program ALL IN LESS THAN A MONTH > from start to finish... > Heck, some of us have been working for 2-3 > years on projects that have people WAITING > with cold hard cash in their hands to buy. > While here is a lady that took the challenge > to ACT and she did and has continued to take > ACTION, and if she continues in that > direction is going to hit gold, as she > refines and adjusts the PROCESS. > See, what 10 DAYS MIND TO MARKET is about is > a PROCESS, one which I've used and one which > I've seen used by successful marketers to > bring a product to market quickly. > It is about being a QUICK process. Yes, that was hard on the ego to "bare myself" and open myself up for criticism. Especially asking why nobody bought my book!! But the learning that came after that, from all the great answers I received, was like gold in my pocket. > Anya will be AMAZED at what has happened to > her 6 months from now. I had no idea what I could do or how it could be done, or how far I could take it. > Watch her soar. (Not just John, but YOU, you know > who you are) > Gordon Alexander One last thing. The fear of the unknown. Each time I took a step, right from the moment I emailed Gordon and asked if I could take part in his "experiment", it was like jumping off a cliff into darkness. Do I trust a guy I only know from the internet? He writes wonderfully motivational articles - but can I trust him to know what he's talking about? Each step has been that way - a step into darkness, because each step is something I've never done, and wouldn't normally be doing, except that I'm simply determined to quit dreaming and start moving. Thankfully, each time a new step was taken, I could look back at all the others and see them in broad daylight, and know I am rapidly gaining ground - not losing it. I'm still stepping into the unknown, as I'm still taking steps - now looking into affiliate programs and learning how to write good ad copy and market my product. And I'm still testing, testing, testing. Each step is still unnerving to me. But I just keep telling myself that moving forward is good. Standing still and stagnating is not. I am so thankful I took that first step, and then another, and then another. Gordon is right. I'm going to fly. Anya. Make-Up Tips for Teens ![]() |
