Default Do you think this might help online sales?

I recently stumbled acrross a website that has a program that is supposed to make it easy for you to put 'special effects' type of advertising on your website.

The effects are good and entertaining, but since I'm new to all of this internet marketing stuff, I'd like to know if you think it would help me to sell more.

Please take a look at http://www.internetprofittools.com and let me know before I buy the package.

Thanks,
Ed

PS - I probably will buy it within the next few days unless too many people think it's a bad idea.

Default No!

If you want to know how to increase the sales from your website... instead of asking about "special effects" which drive people to distraction, ask for a review of your website.

Greetings Ed,

It would definitely depend on what type of
site you have. It probably wouldn't work on a
mini-site. Because I would never suggest using
it on a site that had a sales letter. In that
regard, I agree with Michael.

On the other hand, if you have a site with a
lot of articles... a pop-up like that may help.
You could have a pop-up appear while they're
reading an article on your site.

For me, they could be reading an article
about writing sales letters - a pop-up effect
appears and asks if they want to go to my
product, The Tombstone Sales Letter. That could
work for me.

And to be negative, I supposed I didn't look
too hard... but I couldn't even find so much as
an email address to contact anyone on that site.
So it's suspicious in my book.
