![]() Today I was asked what my company philosophy was. It's a good question and one that I hadn't really considered before.
It got me thinking as I realised just how important a philosophy was. A philosophy is more that just a mission statement. It isn't an after thought. It is something that affects everything a company does..in fact it is more likely to be the driving force behind any successful company. A philosophy is a set of overarching beliefs that serve as guidelines for everyday action. If a strategy defines what a company wants to do, it's philosophy determines the how and why. It is also hard to copy as it is genreally unique to you. So while I think about my philosophy perhaps you could share what yours is and why. Best wishes Andrew Laing |
