![]() ...check!
Ah, the joy! I've been reading Gordon's chatteling advice for a while now and I finally decided to take that all-important first step. So I looked around and asked "What can I sell?" (Sorry, Gordon. I need my TV for a while.) I found something...listed it on eBay...and BAM!...just like that...in comes money. I'm hooked. I'm already creating a "pile" of stuff to sell, my own little Mt. Vesuvius in my living room. It's not a pretty sight, but it will be when it starts erupting with cash. ("Small potatoes", granted, but cash is cash is cash...) I'm scaring myself. I'm asking about EVERYTHING all around me..."What is this worth?"..."What is that worth?"..."If I spruced that up, could I sell that for more than...?" If you know me, stay away from me this weekend. I may decide to re-comb your hair and sell you. So, this eBay-thingy really does work after all! Sonovagun! A-chatteling-we-will-go... John |

![]() after meeting Gordon and reading his Chattel Report a while back, I got off my butt and got the same thrill when some of my stuff sold on half.com and Amazon and checks were deposited. Somehow, it's more fun to receive money that way for me!
I've been making a small potatoes stream of income for about eight months now - it definitely pays for the beer:-) Keep trading! Bob |

![]() Hi John,
CONGRATULATIONS on getting started with chatteling! It's a solid money-earner.... And it's kind of fun, too (if you like rummaging through piles of stuff - I have to admit, I'm a "rummager").... ;) If you're buying to resell, the key is knowing how much you can sell something for BEFORE you buy it... That way, you won't pay too much. Also, it's good to stick to what you are familiar with (or educate yourself).... EBay is great for research, because you can look up how much something has sold for before.... John, if it's working, keep doing it! :) - Dien |
