![]() I recently sold 2 tickets to Korn on ebay. I knew I was going to have some trouble when I seen that the highest bidder had a rating of -1. This bidder seems to be making excuse after excuse why he/she can’t send the money. I really don’t know what to do the concert is a fair time away but I wanted to get the tickets sold quickly and just basically out of the way. If anyone ever has been in a situation similar to mine or even in the same situation or even thinks they know how to help
I would be grateful of any sort of advice. Thx |

![]() If you're the seller, doesn't ebay have a way of denying the top bidder and going to the next? Especially having a legit reason such as lack of funds. I'd check out ebays terms of svs. If nothing else, cancel this bid for the above reason and reauction.
I'm not ebay savvy from the sellers side, but I know that ebay must have a way to CYA. Get Your Web Site the Attention It Deserves |

![]() When I list an auction I include a statement that anyone with a Feedback rating of (-1) or less may not bid on the auction. If they do, I go in and cancel their bid.
Now that the auction has closed use the ebaY "Non-Paying Bidder Alert" described below (from ebaY' Policy): ----------------------------- Non-Paying Bidder Policy Step 3: File a Non-Paying Bidder Alert What to do Let's say you contacted the high bidder and sent a payment reminder (Step 2), but still didn't get a response, or you suspect you may not receive payment. File a Non-Paying Bidder Alert. eBay will then send an email to you and your high bidder reminding them to pay you and informing them of the consequences if they don't send payment. When to do it To be eligible to collect a Final Value Fee credit, you must complete the Non-Paying Bidder Alert form at least 7 days but not more than 45 days after your listing closes. -------------------------------- Good luck, -Dave Info Creation and Marketing |
