Default How Dave made $7,455 in less than two weeks

You have to give this guy credit. I've been watching this guy for several years now. I first heard about him and his ebay book.

Then he had a membership site with all kinds of reports you could use to make your own ebooks.
He sold that site for $8K+.

Then about a month ago I heard something about Marketwatch for Ebay...he sold it for $4K+.

Then he came up with PC-videos using Camtasia telling the whole story. I bought the videos. They are pretty cool. I even put them on a CD so I could watch them on my laptop.

I thought to myself, "If I could get the resell rights to these videos, I could sell the CDs on Ebay." Well, Dave sent an email talking about resell rights for the set of videos.

But he wanted $497. And he was only going to sell rights to 15 individuals.

He offered these rights to his list...and he offered them on Ebay. Less than two weeks later, Dave had sold all 15 licenses for $497 each.

$7,455 in less than two weeks for 15 resell licenses. (And Dave can still sell the videos himself!)

Dave is not just a theorist...he is a do-er.

Dave spills his guts in the videos. And the small price he is asking for them...they are well worth every penny.

(By the way, I was not fortunate enough to get one of the resell licenses so this post will not get me any commissions on the videos if any of you decide to buy them.)

For those who are new to the internet, I am talking about Dave Vallieres. You can find his contact info down the board.

Watch this guy. I can't wait to see what he has up his sleeve next...

Be blessed,

JDB

Hi Dien and John,

I think everyone needs a little inspiration.

So as long as John has 'revealed' my secret to everyone (which is OK with me) I might as well give you a little more detail.

I'm an information product developer... that's what I love to do. My passion is to develop marketable and reliable information products.

I know that a lot of people make tons of money selling information products with resale rights on the Internet, but there's always been one thing that bothered me about resale rights:

The person reselling the product has to compete with 1,000 other people selling the EXACT same product by people who ALSO have the resale rights.

I didn't want that to happen to people reselling my products. That's why I decided to limit the number of licensed web sites selling the product.

The second thing that bothers me is that resale rights - for most information products - are dirt cheap and then they are given away as freebies. I strongly believe that in order for an information marketer to survive you need to 'rise above the crowd' of information sellers and market a truly valuable product and not a 'freebie'.

One way that I've been able to accomplish this is by controlling the distribution of the product so that it isn't copied and shared on every computer on the Internet or given away as a freebie.

How? the agreement with my resellers: I stated in the License Agreement that the product must be 'sold' and not given away and if 'bundled' it must be the Lead Product.

I think my 'system' ultimately benefits the person who's reselling the product and that was my real goal-- the money came AFTER I created a system that made sense to the reseller.

In other words I thought of the way most resale rights are distributed and tried to offer a 'better way'.

It's been my experience that when you make something work better, or try something different that ADDS VALUE to a service or product and you get out and tell people how or why it's different and valuable, they will respond.

So, if you're not making any sales online now, or not as many as you wnat... THINK:

"How can offer more VALUE to my customers?"

"How can I make my product BETTER and more USEFUL?"

When you focus on the customer, the money will come.

That's just my 2 cents...

Hope that helps someone!

-Dave

Dave,

You are right about adding value and being diifferent. I could not resist buying a license to be 1 of the 15 resellers for the Ultimate Business Opportunity PC-Videos.

I was considering buying a license early on, but I didn't like the idea of competing with a lot of other sellers all selling the same product.

When you limited the licenses to 15, and emphasized the fact that this was an asset that has real and transferable value, I was sold. The main point for me was that most of the RISK had been taken away.

The quality of the information revealed in the streaming videos is fantastic. I have several ideas swirling around in my head after watching them, and I'm sure my future customers will also.

It is nice to find a product to sell that has such obvious value. Thanks Dave.
