Default Can You Meet me in Los Angeles this Weekend?

Hello friends,

Can you meet me in Los Angeles this weekend?

As some of you know I have been visiting the online business forums for over five years (in addition to moderating my own board)...all the networking has GREATLY paid off with many valued friendships with talented business associates I never would have experienced before the advent of the Internet.

I will be speaking in Los Angeles, California this upcoming weekend at the "Survival Tactics for Tough Times" conference and would like to extend a FREE invitation for you to attend as my guest, it would be terrific to finally meet some of you, and this is no ordinary event, it is huge...!

I hope you can make it, this is a super opportunity to network with over 1,000 business folk including the other speakers--VERY successful men and women both online and offline such as marketing legends Ted Nicholas, Joe Sugarman, Carl Galletti (whose website generates over $100,000 a month, and he will be showing people how he does it). You can find out more at the link below.

Sorry about the short notice, I wasn't sure if I would be able to go until just recently due to my feverish publishing deadlines this time of year, but I have my airline ticket so I am committed.:-)

I am really looking forward to it, the networking opportunity alone will definitely be worth the trip!

I have placed a link below for more information (leads to my post on my board then just scroll down). Please email me as well if you are able to come...!

I look forward to meeting you,

TLC

P.S. I am cross posting this on three of my favorite boards including my own, hope that's ok, Dien!

Default Sounds like a great opportunity!

Hi TLC,

Sounds like a great opportunity. If I were a bit closer, I'd definitely be there! I'm envious of those who will get to meet you and all those other marketing luminaries!

All the best, I'm sure it will be a great event. :)

Default I thought Ted had retired, no?

I thought Ted had retired, no?

He's the guy who did the How to Incorporate for $50 promotion, right? Also the author of "Magic Words"?

Default Ted's Magic Words were worth millions

> I thought Ted had retired, no?

I heard he retired to Switzerland to keep an eye on his Swiss bank account! ;)

I remember him saying the same thing some years ago, but you can't keep a smart businessman retired and away from business for long or the boredom factor sets in, don't you think?

I'll let you know what new adventures he is up to when I get back.

Have a great day,

TLC

Actually I did speak at a similar convention in the UK maybe three? years ago it was run by Andrew Reynolds and Bill Myers, if you recall them, Derek? I spoke on how to find business information Online.

That was the first and only time I ever needed a passport, what a typical American, huh?:-) I really enjoyed the UK, there was a lot to do and see and the people were very kind.

Bill and his wife Sonya have moved on to new ventures (still very successful entrepreneurs), I have lost touch with Andrew Reynolds...things always change, I guess.

My best,

TLC

Default I thought this was a FREE seminar?

I was planning on attending but I got a phone call saying that I have to make reservations and stay at the hotel where the free seminar is being held.

You should be clear about this in your invitation.

Default Re: Thanks for the Heads Up--But You DON'T Have to Stay There

If you want to come Robert, call 800-531-7070 and let them know you are going to attend.

You do NOT have to stay at the hotel to be able to go. If you are told you need to tell them Tom Olfon said you simply don't (via me).

And P.S. on an unrelated yet related note; for the record, I'd like to say this...I have been to many seminars, conferences and workshops over the years. At some there are back of the room sales, at others there are few or none.

At this conference there will be some, but that's ok.

If you appreciate the benefits a speaker offers you at this point in your life and want greater detail about his/her topic then you might consider whatever else they he/she has to offer--but maybe not, that's totally up to you.

Although I don't have anything to sell, from that perspective, sometimes I think I ought to because people have said I should better organize my info and put more in writing. Quite possibly with my friend Gordon's help I will one of these days, huh?:-)

Look me up if you get there Robert, it would be fun to chat with another person who "gets" the boards. You'd be surprised how few business owners know about them.

Have a great day today and look forward to seeing you there,

TLC
