Default Are you targeting the wrong market?

So you think that in order to make money online you must be able to take credit cards AND you have to price low or at least what 'you'd' expect to pay???

Take a look at the link below, especially the 'Join/Men' link on the main page.

Wouldn't you like to charge $10,000-$20,000 and say NO credit cards allowed!!

Interesting model indeed.

I also like the NO REFUNDS policy.

Default That's an interesting example of targeting a wealthy niche!

Hi Jeff,

That's an intersting niche.... Dating for millionaires! Hmmm....

Just (ahem) $10,000 MINIMUM for a year's membership (for men)! But free for women....

Kind of like a "Rolls Royce" of dating sites! I wonder if it's successful though.... Apart from the extra "bonuses" I'm not really sure I see an advantage in this service for millionaires over a more "traditional" personals/dating service.... It's interesting however.

As for me - if I was going to do this - I'd use the "Gary Halbert" approach, and spend the money on advertising. :)

Default Reminds me of my first "Niche" market

I chose as my first business....BURGLAR ALARMS!

My "Niche" market was the affluent North Shore of Chicago.

One of my first customers was W.Clement Stone who introduced me to MANY of his affluent friends and neighbors and business associates who had the ability to pay $5,000 and up for a Security System for their homes.

Fortunately, with the help of Mr Stone, I was able to sell over 100 of my "Alarm Systems" the first year in biz and because of referrals, it was down hill from there.

So...if you can find an "Affluent Niche Market" and present your product to them...you got it made.

Dien,

I seem to recall back thru the fog of net info overload; I heard about this on TV. I think the founder was interviewed by 60Min/48Hrs/20-20 or one of those shows. I believe it was VERY successful, especially for the founder. I'm sure someone else probably recalls it more accurately, but I think that was it. Bet that will stimulate some Great Ideas. Thanks for a great newsletter & forum. Dave Horn

Did you take a look at the women? Wow! That's the advantage right there... I need to move to California!
